It is Monday, which means I shower you guys with some amazing internet finds. Almost all seem in one way or the other illustration related, but I'm sure you wont mind. Ready? Set. Go!
Books A while ago The Bookdepository organised a competition for readers to design the new bookmarks they always put with their orders. They picked the ones they liked the most and whenever I order some books I get a new bookmark. They're quite lovely and on the back you can find the favourite book of the person who designed the bookmark. My favourite one is designed by Regina Vega. Image Source: Regina Vega
Embroidery Oh, how lovely is this needlework by Chloe Chiordano? She also makes pretty embroidered typography and lovely faux-taxidermy critters. Image Source: Chloe Chiordano
Home Decor This makes my Pokémaster heart beat a little faster: Bulbasaur planters! Geeking out inconspicuously! Sadly they are $50 a piece, which means I'll never own the perfect planter. Insert sadness. Image Source: Chloe Chiordano
Illustration I really adore the moving illustrations by Rafael Varona. Adding animation to digital illustrations make them so much more special. I never saw this in a book (although it probably exists), but this would be so cool, to read storybooks with moving pictures! Image Source: Rafael Varona via The Jealous Curator
Accessories Last, but not least! The amazingly pretty shawls by the Etsy shop Shovava. Apart from being amazing, they are also quite affordable. Image Source: Shovava via Bored Panda
VerwijderenDie bulbasur is geniaal!
